Resilience u adolescentů v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež

The world of games has changed dramatically with the evolution of technology and has acquired a new form. Nowadays there are many games, game portals, as well as magazines or competitions aimed at playing digital games. In this book, readers will have opportunity to investigate this “game” world. Playing digital games develops some aspects of a person, on the other hand, the games can bring even shady sites. One of the serious negative manifestations can be an internet gaming disorder, which is demonstrated e.g. by the loss of interests, social contacts, or inability to control gaming. In the monograph are characterized criteria for Internet Gaming Disorder as are defined in the DSM-5. Based on these criteria was detected a prevalence 3.7 % for this disorder in in adolescents between aged 11 to 19 The book also presents other important findings, such as what the Czech teens play the most, how many of them play games daily for more than 4 hours or how many individuals declare problems in school as a result of playing digital games. At the same time, the book provides distinction between non-problematic, problematic and addictive gamer. The publication provides information about personality of gamers. The book presents therapeutic approaches, possible interventions and information about prevention. In the publication, the reader finds both the theoretical interpretation of digital games and the current nationwide research data about the gaming in Czech adolescents. This information can be the basis for quality and effective preventive and interventional activities, which are necessary nowadays.

Cílem této výzkumné monografie bylo vymezit klíčové osobnostní charakteristiky resilience u dospívajících klientů v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež. Z tohoto důvodu jsme přeložili dotazník Škály resilience pro děti a adolescenty (Prince-Embury, 2007), který je určený pro širokou věkovou skupinu dětí a adolescentů (9-18 let). Pokud máme k dispozici nástroj na měření resilience, můžeme cíleně zaměřovat intervence na její jednotlivé faktory a účinně ověřovat jejich úspěšnost. Monografie ukazuje čtenářům, jak lze na základě práce s administrací dotazníku rozvíjet resilienci klientů. Vše je podloženo výzkumem resilience v nízkoprahových zařízeních pro děti a mládež. Většina klientů nízkoprahových zařízení pro děti a mládež skórovala v případě škály emoční reaktivity výše než americký populační průměr a na škále zvládání a uspokojivých vztahů naopak níže. Tento výsledek v naměřených hodnotách odpovídá nespecifické skupině, která byla v americké standardizační skupině v péči odborníků na psychické zdraví.
